I flew to the wrong city once.
A small mistake in Charlotte led me hundreds of miles off course. The whole time I was flying, I had no idea I was heading in the wrong direction. That moment taught me a lesson I’ll never forget: getting out of alignment has consequences.
The same is true in marriage.
Life moves fast. Schedules get full. And without intentionality, small misalignments can turn into major disconnects. That’s why my wife, Ferris, and I started a Weekly Marriage Meeting—a simple rhythm that has changed the game for us.
This isn’t just a to-do list or another meeting on your calendar. It’s a space to:
✔️ Get aligned on your schedules and priorities
✔️ Have honest, meaningful conversations
✔️ Build trust and intimacy in your relationship
✔️ Address small issues before they become big problems
✔️ Encourage each other and celebrate the good
I lead the men in my Steadfast Way Coaching Group through this process, and I want to give you the exact Weekly Marriage Meeting Guide we use—for free. Here's what you can expect:
âś… A simple, structured agenda to follow each week
âś… Questions designed to help you grow closer
âś… A framework based on the 5 Pillars of Steadfast Marriage: Soul, Sight, Strength, Stewardship, and Standards

In the 20 years I spent in pastoral leadership, I learned quickly that how I was as a husband, father, and leader were all deeply connected.Â
Now, as I coach and mentor people every day, write sermons and speak around the country, I'm certain that the mission I'm on is more important than ever - helping leaders reignite their joy, passion, and purpose in their personal and public lives.Â
The Steadfast Way came about after I realized that men in ministry are tired, they're at risk of compromise, and they struggle to simply show up.Â
I'm deeply committed to helping you understand what it takes to courageously show up in your faith, marriage, family, and calling every day. And I'll help you build the rhythms and tools to get there.Â
